Funeral Arranger Brigid-Mary had a fun time with the community at the Wibsey 1940s Scarecrow event.
There was music from the 1940’s, tea, and scones with jam and cream.
Brigid said: “Edwin Pounds is such a big part of the Wibsey Community, the feedback on the day and on Facebook was heart-warming, it was quite an emotional day.
It went really well; we had hundreds of visitors, the stories people shared with me were just so intriguing.
I didn’t know it was a competition, we came 2nd place, so I was so thrilled, as you can imagine, I will be upping my game next year.”
